Nos despedimos de nuestros padres, y creo que nadie abrazó los
abrazó menos de 36 veces. Cenamos, volamos, aterrizamos y nos dieron habitaciones…
tan ansiosos estábamos por llegar, que todo ocurrió en un abrir y cerrar de
ojos.
El fin de semana fue espectacular, pero el estrés se iba
notando a medida que se acercaba el lunes…Y con él nuestro primer día de cole:
no conoceríamos a nadie,un idioma diferente, compañeros mirándote toooodo el rato… Aaargh!
Pero los primeros días molaron. Los ingleses tienen una
palabra igual de chula que esta (molar), que consigue transmitir lo mismo y en
menos espacio: nice. ¡La usan para
todo!
Lo que no mola tanto son los deberes. Pero tenemos que saber
que hemos venido a aprender Inglés, y no sólo de excursión. Además, tenemos
muchos monitores (algunos los conocíamos ya) que nos ayudan a hacerlos: Pepe,
Jesús, Jose, Diego, etc. Tampoco molaba nada hacer la cama, porque nos cuesta
mucho encontrarla cuando aún estamos medio dormidos… ¡Pero ya nos hemos
acostumbrado a levantarnos tan pronto!
Lo que sí está genial es que nos han dividido en equipos de
Harry Potter: Griffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff y Ravenclaw (y lo he escrito
sin mirar). Podemos conseguir puntos hablando en inglés, teniendo
ordenadisisisima la habitación, en las clases de Mr. John (ya os contaremos),
en los juegos, al servir la mesa, etc. Está genial, porque el equipo que más puntos
acumula cada semana, tiene sorpresa asegurada.
¡Y nada más!

We said goodbye to our parents, after give them not less than 36 huges. We dinnered, flew, landed and the rooms were assigned... We were so anxious that everything seemed happening in a moment.
The weekend was amazing, but the we finished it very stressed because the monday: we won´t know anybody, a different language, partners looking at you everytime...¡ Aaargh!
But the first days were nice. English speakers have a word so great as this one (molar), that is able to transmit too many things and is shorter than our word: nice. They use it in any situation!
What is not so great is the homework. But we must rememeber that we´ve comen to learn english, and not only for a excursion. Moreover, we have some monitors (I knew some of them before come here) that help us to do everything: Pepe, Jesús, Jose, Diego, etc. There wasn´t great either making the bed, because is very difficult to find it if you are still asleep... We are getting gradually used to wake up so early!
What is really fantastic is that we are divided in Harry Potter´s teams: Griffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff y Ravenclaw (and I wrotte that without check it). We can obtain points by speaking in english, putting in order the room, in Mr. John´s classses (we will tell you soon), in games, serving the lunch, etc. That´s nice, because the most points you obtain every week, the most sourprises you will have then!
And by the moment, there isn´t anything more!
